A mute man (Adipati Dolken) travels to Toraja so he can speak. There is the Manene ritual, where even dead people can be made to walk. On the way, Mute misses the bus when he stops at a restaurant. All the goods carried by the bus. So the mute lived a homeless life in the village market. Yunus (Bogel Apriansyah), the caretaker of the mosque, helps the mute and gives him a place to stay at the mosque. The mute becomes close to the taklim assembly at the mosque, one of whose members is Nila (Rania Putrisari). The mute’s strong determination to stay in Toraja and recover from his silence makes Nila feel compassion and pay more attention. This actually makes the mute fall in love.
